Your Italian wedding

Bingo! My biggest passion: Italy…. I really enjoy organizing a wedding in Italy and because there is so much to tell, I have created a special website: (this website is in Dutch).

Below I’ve written some basic ideas and sugggestions, but for a more detailed description I highly recommend you visit the above mentioned website – it is still a project lead and executed by PAUWeddings!

Are you dreaming of an Italian wedding?

Dining with friends and family while the sun sets. Sitting at a long table, filled with Italian specialties, reflecting on a special ceremony held in a small Italian church or outside in the vineyards. Enjoy the morning sun, relaxing on a terras, gazing at the idyllic landscape. Mangiare mangiare mangiare? In other words: excellent food?!

Getting married in Italy? Why not?
PAUWeddings knows numerous special places and gorgeous locations in Italy, knows her way around the (sometimes bureaucratic) Italy and speaks quite a bit of Italian.

You can lawfully get married in Italy or arrange everything in the Netherlands and bring your own BABS (special official of the municipal government) for a more personal wedding in la bella Italia. Everything is possible. This is your wedding.

Locations in abundance. Toscane is always a beautiful place, but how about getting married in Sicily, Venice, idyllic Bergamo, fashionable Milan, near the Italian lakes or perhaps all the way down south in the heel of Italy: Puglia! Truth be told, Puglia has captured my heart. It’s astonishingly beautiful, such kind people, very nice masseria, great food and wines….

And also when you do not like castles or manors, there is enough to explore in Italy. How about a beach club or perhaps an Eastern palace?! Other wishes? PAUWeddings is more than happy to help you, so do not hesitate to ask or check!

Oh, and handy to know; PAUWeddings can also take care of the styling of your Italian wedding and can be your interpreter when you choose an Italian civil ceremony (where a translator is mandatory to get married for the Italian law when the wedding couple doesn’t speak (enough) Italian).

Need inspiration? Please check several beautiful Italian weddings on the ‘Wedding’ page.
